Hi all--
This email from Bill Pyper pretty much sums things up. Bill’s first issue is
the October 2013 “Dispatch”. Any of you who have been thinking about
supplying an article or photo for the “Dispatch” should contact Bill as he
shows below. Production values and timeliness of the “Dispatch” are both
supposed to improve with this change, and I hope some of you will take this
opportunity to provide Bill with new material.
Jeff Madden is staying on as Editor Emeritus, and will continue to help Bill
get out the “Dispatch.” He will also be responsible for convention coverage,
but if any of you get good convention photos or have convention comments, you
should get them to Bill ASAP after the convention so they might get into the
October issue.
I hope to see many of you in Scranton next week!

As you have probably heard by now, I have assumed the job of editor of the
Dispatch. I have only been a serious model railroader since 1998. I am taking
on the responsibility of editor because I am an experienced editor, graphic
artist and printer.

Deadlines have not changed, and you can still e-mail your copy to
[email protected] or to [email protected] If you prefer to mail it, my
address is PO Box 885, Salem, OR 97308.

One of my goals, and the goal of the Board of Trustees, is to get the Dispatch
out on time.

Bill Pyper
