Yes, it's about two years since the last go-round. This time, the update affects individuals randomly, instead of the whole group. Time will tell if this one sticks, although most of the feedback is terrible. I have not been assigned yet, so I can't comment or tell if it impacts moderator abilities (although early revisions seem to have caused problems for some moderators).
I'm not sure why Yahoo feels the need to force a format change on groups that do not want, instead of offering it as an option (with explanation of why we should want to switch). Maybe new groups would be required to take the new format, but old ones have a choice. Sadly, they don't ask me. If worse comes to worse, Bill still has the Google group primed and ready. Pieter E.
