Bob:
If you click and hold your cursor on teh arrow under the timeline, you can drag 
it and stop on each date the lsit changes.   Took me a while to figute it out 
too!

  Jim,  Very interesting stuff, but the list went by too fast.  One of my 
favorite railroads (Milwaukee Road) was pretty high on that list early on.  Of 
course with Rockefeller money in the game I'm sure didn't hurt either.  

  I tune into a MILW road Yahoo group and a couple of knowledgeable members and 
many speculators can talk endlessly about the road's demise--interesting 
history to say the least.

    The Dow Jones put out a 129 year timeline of companies that made up The Dow 
Jones over the years.   It used to be called The Dow Jones Industrial  Average 
and railroad history buffs might be interested in how many and which railroads, 
and aligned industries, were part of the Dow in years past.  Hopefully the
