Hi John:
I think the comment was about their original turnouts, that they were 
not closed-frog type, and could not accommodate scale wheels.  I think 
the track itself is around code 125 and fine for heavy mainline use in 
scale modelling with scale wheels.  I also have heard that SHS is in the 
process of modifying their current production turnouts (~#3?) to 
accommodate scale wheels and their new turnouts (#5?) will also be able 
to handle scale wheels.  In summary, I think SHS track will handle both 
scale and hi-rail wheels, and their turnouts will in the near future.  I 
am sure that Don will give you particulars in an e-mail!
