Occasionally I see a report that crossbucks from another scale, or toy
train crossbucks might be usable for S scale. Here's some data to help
you decide if they are "good enough". According to Mainline Modeler,
April 2002, the Union Pacific standard crossbuck design is as follows:
center of crossbucks - 10' 6" from ground
crossbuck blades - 9" wide x 5' long
post - 4" OD
