Good morning ladies and germs: This is from Andy Cewe, former A.C.Gilbert employee: White paraffin, not kerosene, was the original base for the smoke fluid. He says that there are a few high test lamp oils that are white paraffin based, but doubts that they will work as well. The cedar scent was really cedar aromatics-and he doesn't remember the source.-john marganski
