I borrowed for the local library a Greenberg Lionel book with all of the
L-Flyer cars broken into exploded views and lists of L-flyer part numbers. What I cannot figure out is the truck eyelet numbers SE 65, SE 67, SE 69 and the like. I cannot find any listing for these part numbers. I have one cut rivet from a L-Flyer flat car the I repainted that has a 1/4 inch shaft What I am wondering is where I can get these L-Flyer eyelets or can I get away with using pikemaster eyelets that I see listed in the train repair parts catalog that I have. If all else fails, I have a 3/16 brass tube and my handy brake line tube flairer.
