Both items are 0-27 rolling stock with American Flyer trucks.
This was Lionel's way of introducing new S-Gauge Equipment. You can
convert any Lionel O-27 TTUX the same way by changing the trucks to
American Flyer S-Gauge and they will match the 48511 & 48514
perfectly.
