Hi,

I went to the Reliance Fire Hall in York this morning and found a parking spot. The
show was pretty good. The food was also good and reasonably priced. There was no
admission charge. I found a couple nice things. The shuttle bus ran to the three
motels for $1 a stop. There was no admission charge anywhere I went. There were lots
of trains, even though the outside trading was curtailed due to the rain. I thought
this trip was definitely worth the time. Nice tune-up for the TCA show on
Friday/Saturday.

Thanks to all who recommended it.

The Billy Budd east of the fairgrounds near the interstate has a large
room for indoor tables plus a tent near the parking lot. Last year the
parking lot display was quite small and the tent was smaller than
usual. The big motel west of the fairgrounds (Holiday Inn?) has a huge
room but no tent. The parking lot sale was a large operation. The
small motel in the middle was a pathetic remnant of past meets last year
and not worth visiting. The ball room downtown is indoors but also was
somewhat smaller than past years last October.
