Other differences include the lack of a Roar cutoff switch on the bottom of the 3-digit B unit. Flanges are deeper on the 5-digit and the PullMor tire bands are replaceable on these units. One drawback (some may disagree with this) is that the 5-digit version has the 2 position reverse unit. Possible sudden reversing on a curve taken too fast or on dirty track! Always check axles for excessive play. Grasp the opposite wheels on each axle and try to rock the axle up and down. Test run them if you can to see if they run sluggish. If you can avoid one that needs rebushing to so -- unless the price is right. It's fairly expensive to have it done -- not something a newbie can tackle on their own. However, units I've rebushed run smoother, faster and draw less current than originals that still have good axle holes in their frames. My rebushed 370 will run with as little 6-8 volts and just endlessly creep around a Flyer oval without the motor hardly getting warm.
