It IS frustrating when either sellers or buyers play games. Sometimes there is a legitimate reason for stopping an auction. I had to do it a couple months ago when I damaged an item midway through the auction. What else was I to do? I listed the reason why and described the damage to the item with my apologies. I learned a lesson: after the item is listed, quit playing with it! I now stow listed items in a safe place.
