Curtis,

Thank you for the response to my question about Bob Board's layout and
letting me know it is still in operation during the holidays.

I have seen the layout, running, a couple of times in the mid 1990's, and
you don't see any mention of the running anywhere, just a ad for his smoke
fluid, so I wanted to make sure it was still in operation, before I go up
there.

I believe the reason, he doesn't allow video cameras is because he does have
a video of his own for sale, which I have, plus it is cramped in that area
between the layout and the walls of his trains on display. I did take
photo's one time and he didn't have a problem with that. And you are right,
the ligthing is not friendly for film. Even his own video is grainy, but
okay. I have the pictures buried somewhere and will try to find them.

You mention another layout, but didn't tell where it is. Is that the layout
I was told about in Fleming, N.J.?

Bob's layout is worth a trip for anyone within reasonable driving distance.
Also, makes a great weekend in the Lancaster area, with the TCA museum and
train ride. We did stay once at the Red Caboose hotel, which is an
experience with all the rooms being actual Cabooses!

Bob does have a shop and does have old AF, as well as new items from the
other makers of S products, just be prepare to pay premium price, if you
really want that item. Price is firm.

Thanks Carl,

Mike
