Chuck: this is really enjoyable stuff. Keep it up!!! I think it would be fun for us as a group to take a look at each catalog as it appears and post any interesting things we notice.
Here's mine: 1952 was the year the turret transformers first appeared, and the 1952 turret transformers were different from later years. The red and green lamps did not have covers; colored bulbs were used. In fact, the holes in the transformer case for the bulbs are smaller, and the covers will not fit. Also, there was a different decorative plate featuring a steam loco and a diesel, rather than the red and blue shield logo with stripes. Bob Tufts alerted me to this. As it happens, the roller arm design and the wiring of the circuit breakers were changed after 1952 too. What do you guys see?
