I went into Lowes in my area (Lynnwood, Wa) today and they have the same deal and have literally over hundred "carol town" buildings and many more of the people, boats,etc. the buildings seem closer to s gauge (roughly)than the people appear to be. They also have a lot of the Coca-Cola series buildings which seen a little larger
The Michaels chain stores have the Leemax stuff for 40% off this week but are cleaned out. One tip about Michaels is that they have a ad in the sunday paper (they have extras in the store) each giving 40% off any one item.
