I lean towards the New Haven with the pentagrams. Wish I had one in E- or better
condition!

  Subject: [S-Trains] Christmas

This Christmas I received the book, American Flyer
Classic Toy Trains by Gerry and Janet Souter. This is
an excellent tabletop book with tons of pictures and
covers American Flyer from its founding in Chicago
through today. Although it contains several factual
  errors, I highly recommend it.

BTW, the author states that the Royal Blue was
  "aguably American Flyer's...best-looking locomotive"
followed by the 370 GM GP-7. I disagree and believe
that the Alco PAs were arguably the best looking
locomotives (especially the Santa Fes) followed by the
B6b 0-6-0 PRR switcher with slope-back tender. What
  do you guys think?

  Joe
