This Christmas, I received a Lionel/American Flyer TTUX. As taken from the box, the two cars are coupled together but it comes with a separate truck that you can make the cars into units instead of being connected. I had not even run the the thing and it is broken. I had it sitting on a siding and being top heavy, it fell over due to where it was sitting was not quite level. There is a CHEAP little paper thin plastic bar that held the two together that broke. It is an easy enough fix and that is no problem. However when I called Lionel for a replacement part......one he told me he couldn't guarantee it would be the same color due to it being made "in the orient" and two...he says the cars are the same as Lionel..only the trucks are different. Just thought I would throw that in since someone else was unhappy with them.
