Need a replacement speaker for your Diesel or want to add one to a engine that didn't come with one? Try the Radio Shack number 273-093 speaker. It's smaller than the original which makes it fit in most units. Size: 1 9/16" Dia and only about 3/16" thick. This compares to the original which is 2" in diameter. Cost - About $3.
I bought one to put in my 499 New Haven and used foam tape to mount it. It sounds nice using a 22 microfarad capacitor. I don't think they are carried in the new Radio Shack product line, so you may want to go to the store now & get one while they are still in stock.
