If your switches are the later style you can use Atlas switch controllers. They have no lights but are cheap and easy to hook up. Available at any hobby shop that has HO. The later style switches are the ones with one square box under the indicator light.
The earlier switches with the elongated boxes use a controller that's always on. However, now that I think about it, should be able to use an Atlas controller for these also by holding down the button until the switch throws (or doesn't). I personally dislike these earlier switches. Most of them that I have are warped now and don't work well.
