WOW!!! This is a great tip!

BTW I also noticed that ConCor has the "Cambria Series" on sale as well.
If any of you attended the 1995 NMRA National Convention in Atlanta you may
remember my HO contest diorama, "J.W. Wenrich's Manufactory" (
http://drbens.com/dioramas.htm ). The Cambria City Iron Works from ConCor
is the very same Pola Galvanizing Works that I used as the basis for this
diorama.

Now that I have committed to transition my contest models to S Scale / S
Gauge / 3/16" / 1/64 (I never had this issue in HO modeling), a very close
inspection of my finished diorama resulted in my assessment that I would
only need to change the front and side doors, the track, the car (abandoned)
& the people to "this scale" and I will have an S Scale / S Gauge / 3/16" /
1/64 (sorry, I do this to be PC ... I don't want any hate mail) diorama.

This might be a fun article to write up. Any suggestions as where to
consider submitting a "Retrofit" article?

Ben

One of the Golden Oldies of large-in-HO-usable-in-S structures, the "Weekly
Herald", is on sale in the Con-Cors winter catalog, half price, $7.99,
02-9038. I think that every S scale layout is required to have one of these
(or the similar Superior Bakery, also on sale). see photos and other sale
items at
