I use AF with rubber roadbed and some GarGrave flexible. In the 'old days' I used truscale wooden roadbed with the ties and grooves and brass rail. Someone used t make nickel silver flex track-think I had a couple of sections-which when I ran a PA with brass wheels was extrordinarily quiet.
