The talk of the first train, etc......I can close my eyes and still see the Display window at the Diamond Dept store there in Charleston, WV.......The sun has set...its cold....snow is falling....ice and snow are on the sidewalk....hardly no one is around...But still the Brightly lit window, on the corner of the store, the store closed at 6:00, full of the balls, dolls, models, cotton, erector sets, trucks, cars, games, etc.....and on the window is a spot where, if you touch it, the AF train starts to run around thru the TOYLAND......Ah...to be 12 again......Thanks for the Memories.....And also to roll back a few more years...We were the first family to get A TV on the west side of town in our neighbourhood.....we would pull back the curtains in the Living Room so people could stand outside our window in the front yard to watch....I think there was only one channel and was on for about 4 or 5 hours 5 to 11....rest was the TEST pattern....Bob
