Finally, I am happy to announce that the Gilbert / American Flyer 1946
Catalog is now online for viewing. This is of course where Gilbert first
cataloged its new S gauge line. The catalog was printed on large sized
paper, and was 14 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches in size, when folded shut! (I had
wondered why most of the catalogs I saw for sale of eBay had been folded
in half at some point!)

I had a heck of a time getting a hold of this catalog for scanning. I
was snipped on eBay once, but finally got a better catalog that came all
the way from Canada by Poney Express, I think... Too big for any scanner
I could find, each page had to be scanned twice and then pieced
together. It turned out well though, and is complete with its 1946 price
list. Enjoy...

PS: If anyone can help, I still need scans of catalogs from 1947, 1948
and 1965. Also looking for 1938 and 1940.

Thanks, Chuck
