I am working on a layout with that exact configuration. It actually has maybe an extra inch or 2 on both length and width.
At any rate, I have one loop on the "short" end of the L, one loop on the longer end, then one loop going around the entire L. Switches between the outside loop and the longer L, and between the two loops. The outer loop goes over the short loop.... confused? I sure am! I use 1 crossover and 6 switches (at least, 6 that are needed in the track plan... i have a couple of sidings too, so 10 switches in all). I have some pictures I could scan at lunch to post. --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED], "beechcricker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I'm having major problems coming up with a workable track plan.
