I don't think the fibers of the Scotchbright pad are even CLOSE to sandpaper as far as abrasive....no matter what grit you use,....it's all a bunch of little sharp, hard rocks,...or whatever they use in sandpaper THESE days!! :^) I'm sure I'll hear somethin' on THAT comment!! Some may disagree,...but I like the Scotchbrigth pads. Rick.
