Have a A.F. engine with 'Diesel Roar'. Have tried to no avail to get it to work. I think it is supposed to 'roar' louder as the transformer voltage is increased to the track. So far all it does is vibrate loudly when voltage is applied. The more voltage applied from the A.F.transformer, the more the reed/coil unit in the Diesel vibrates. It looks like some kind of a relay that vibrates madly when voltage is applied to the rails. Is this normal? Or is this the A.F. idea of 'Diesel Roar'? Sounds more like a giant misquito bug or dragonfly trying to take off to me! Is this all I can expect from this device?
