Swaziland economy:
The
Swazi taxpayer has to pay about E330,000 a
day for the upkeep of the Royal Family,
headed by King Mswati
III, sub-Saharan Africa’s last absolute
monarch.
The
total wage bill for the Swaziland Civil Service is E330,000 a month.
The Swazi Government is seeking to make 7,000 civil servants redundant
in an attempt to save the kingdom’s economy which is in freefall.
Now,
it doesn’t take a genius to work out what the Swazi Government needs to
do to save those jobs.
