23 July 2019 *Democracy Now!!!: Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) holds Annual Winter School* The Communist Party of Swaziland will convene its annual winter school from the 26th to 28th of July 2019 under the theme: DEMOCRACY NOW!. The school will be attended by 50 delegates from Swaziland and in exile. It will be held in Gert Sibande region, Mpumalanga Province of the Republic of South Africa. The worsening social situation in the country and the attitude of the Mswati dictatorship towards democratic change compels us to seek new methods of pushing the struggle to achieve the results we want. All efforts to introduce democracy are bitterly and violently resisted by the monarchy and royal elite. The situation has been exacerbated by the refusal of Swaziland’s neighbours and SADC to put any meaningful pressure on the Mswati regime to end the dictatorship. They have been complicit in sustaining the dictatorship. The regime sees this as a thumps-up to its barbarian rule. It is time now to combine all our freedom and democracy campaigns and bring the element of urgency by introducing new components that will make us achieve our goal. It is important now that we orient our cadres and activist on the need for immediate results in our calls for democracy in our land. The school will address this by focusing on three component topics; our approach to *New forms of struggles*, on *Ungovernability* and on the *Balance of forces*. Whilst we continue to intensify our campaigns, we need to introduce elements that will put the necessary pressure to the regime in order to realise the change we want.
