*INVITATION
two-day workshop on the 2nd and 3rd of June, Amerlinghaus
discussion on the 5th of June, Depot
with Silvia Federici and George Caffentzis*
*Konsensbildung?
How to explode work-regimes and the commodification of knowledge
or the production of "knowledge commons".*
Institutional policy and ideology with regard to education have changed
significantly in the post-fordist/globalization era - which are the
motivating factors and social forces behind these developments?
Which changes have also taken place in the struggles of students/teachers
and more generally cultural workers, to what extent could new forms of
resistance succeed in opposing the differentiation of work-regimes and the
commodification of knowledge?
How can we/one, starting from the universities as base/work-place, not only
resist the enclosure of knowledge, and explode the contradictions inherent
in the present educational policies, but redefine the concept of "academic
freedom" in an anti-capitalist manner, connect the struggles in the
edu-factory to struggles in other parts of the social factory, and produce
"knowledge commons"?
The events will take place in english.
