I don't know if he wanted support; it seems to me that he was checking with the community of SMC users to see if others were experiencing slower-than-usual performance. I have had days like that, when everything just seems slow. There have been occasions in the past in which you provided a definite reason for poor performance (such as a hardware issue). I think this is an appropriate forum to ask about general slowness.
I also understand your point. Support requests should be made through "Help." As always, thank you for your rapid response to user comments, requests, and even ineptitude (I hope I'm not the only one).
