Hi there, Just to make everyone jealous, I attempted to compile sage-4.6.1.alpha3 on my laptop. I took 28min53 + 12 min documentation ;-) ! But this is not the goal of this email. I tried this to see if it compile and to check the status of the queue. And here begins the problems:
The patch trac_8386_iet_alphabet_bug-vd.patch doesn't apply anymore. The reason is: $ hg log sage/combinat/iet/constructors.py changeset: 15160:a5b47aac6c49 user: Jeroen Demeyer <jdeme...@cage.ugent.be> date: Sun Dec 05 13:12:29 2010 +0100 summary: #8898: convert files to use Unix line ending The patch associated to #8898 is not in the queue. I guess (I'm offline in the train and cannot check) it's from the release manager. As a consequence the whole bunch of patches dealing with iet are now broken. So to ease the future rebase of the queue, Vincent can you import this patch in the 4.6.1 section of the queue and rebase all the needed patch. Also It would be good to ensure in the future to use only Unix line ending, whatever editor/OS you use.
