talking about Cartan types:

I implemented QuiverMutationType to work with quivers and cluster
algebras in http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/10527. Those
contain in particular all finite and affine types of Kac-Moody
algebras as described in Kac's book (but beside that also multiple
other types, and it is, and cannot be, exhaustive). As several affine
types correspond to multiple quivers mutation types, a diffenent
notion than in Kac's book is used, but those types can be inputed as
well.

It would be nice if someone could have a look at it at some point. I
think, eventually we should have this very general type together with
its "standard quiver", its Dynkin diagram, and its Coxeter graph, and
Cartan type could take those objects from there. But this and other
things are still to discuss properly...
