I'm still running into "gmp in /usr/local" problems.  I just noticed  
that in alpha0/1, the cddlib tarball has a .deps file in src/src- 
gmp.  There's a config.log file in src, with this at the beginning:

It was created by configure, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59.  Invocation command line was

    $ ./configure --prefix=/u/fukuda/local
=================
I assume that because spkg-install runs configure again, this won't  
matter, but I thought I'd check.
