I think it's SHA256; I use `ssh-keygen`, and had the follwoing output:

yueqili@Yueqis-MacBook-Pro sage % ssh-keygen

Generating public/private rsa key pair.

Enter file in which to save the key (/Users/yueqili/.ssh/id_rsa):

/Users/yueqili/.ssh/id_rsa already exists.

Overwrite (y/n)? y

Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase):

Enter same passphrase again:

Your identification has been saved in /Users/yueqili/.ssh/id_rsa

Your public key has been saved in /Users/yueqili/.ssh/id_rsa.pub

The key fingerprint is:

SHA256\yueqili@Yueqis-MacBook-Pro.local

The key's randomart image is:

+---[RSA 3072]----+

....

+----[SHA256]-----+

yueqili@Yueqis-MacBook-

Thank you so much for your help!

Sincerely,

Yueqi
