https://github.com/sagemath/website/blob/master/conf/contributors.xml is the source from which https://www.sagemath.org/development-map.html is generated.
But many contributors are missing. We have additional data in other files: 1. Merge info from https://github.com/sagemath/sage-changelogs/blob/master/merger/contributors/9.7 <https://github.com/sagemath/sage-changelogs/blob/master/merger/contributors/9.7> into https://github.com/sagemath/website/blob/master/conf/contributors.xml <https://github.com/sagemath/website/blob/master/conf/contributors.xml> This is largely scriptable. 2. Some contributors have used multiple spellings of their names. We can add a comma-separated attribute "altnames" to retain this information. 3. Merge info from https://trac.sagemath.org/#AccountNamesMappedtoRealNames <https://trac.sagemath.org/#AccountNamesMappedtoRealNames> into https://github.com/sagemath/website/blob/master/conf/contributors.xml <https://github.com/sagemath/website/blob/master/conf/contributors.xml>; note that Trac 1.2 displays real names anyway (for users with legacy accounts, not "gh-" accounts). This is partially scriptable. Note that this list contains at least some accounts of users who have not interacted on any tickets; those should probably not be added to the contributors list.
