I once spoke to a mathematician from one of the Indian institutes and the computers they had were 486 with wordstar for a word processor. The guy had actually never seen a computer with Windows on it and it took me nearly a week to teach him how to open a web browser from the desktop and check his email.
Not sure that actually helps you, but it may explain why there are 125 open connections. Bill.
