Can you post a link to your install.log where dl.so is missing? Python
builds a bunch of extensions and if the prerequisites are not there
certain extensions are not build. That is likely the case on the
Centos 4 box.

Ok. I do not know what the prerequisites for the dl module are, so let
me dig around.
