I just came across this Wiki:

and noticed the author(s) read [sage-devel]. It seems someone is putting some 
effort into (highlevel) crypto support for Sage and Python in general. I am a 
bit overwhelmed by the content, but got one question in case the authors in 
fact do read [sage-devel]:

Do you plan to support (round-)reduced versions of the ciphers, e.g. 4 rounds 
of DES etc.?
