Hi, If you're applying for postdocs next year, one option would be to apply for the program described below and come to UW to work on SAGE-related work.

Applicants should identify a potential mentor and mentoring institution." We are an MSRI Academic Sponsoring Institutions and are therefore eligible to host these postdocs. If you know of an appropriate candidate please encourage them to apply with you as the potential mentor and UW as the mentoring institution. -Dan +------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Daniel Pollack, Professor & GPC University of Washington | | math...@math.washington.edu Mathematics Department | | http://www.math.washington.edu/~pollack Box 354350 | | Phone 206-543-1809, Fax 206-543-0397 Seattle, WA 98195-4350 | +------------------------------------------------------------------------+ ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, 30 Mar 2009 10:38:10 -0700 (PDT) From: "Daniel Pollack (GPC)" <math...@math.washington.edu> To: gradstude...@math.washington.edu Cc: facu...@math.washington.edu Subject: New Postdoc Positions (April 10 deadline): To anyone still looking for postdocs for next year: "The seven NSF Mathematical Sciences Institutes announce the creation of 30 new postdoctoral positions. Salaries are competitive and a travel allowance is included. Successful applicants will have an opportunity to participate in a Job Skills Workshop in December, 2009, relating to the academic job search and interview process. Applications are due by April 10; it is anticipated that the first round of offers will be made by April 15."
