It's interesting the lower cost version of Mathematica is available for every platform except Solaris. From reading the Solaris newsgroups, there are several who intend complaining about that to Wolfram Research.
Sticking 'Mathematica Solaris' into Google brings up no sponsored links. Top hit it not from Wolfram Research but something I posted some time back. It seems like Sage could do with a push on that platform. I'm going to download the latest and have another try to see what the current situation is. If nothing else, I can probably give some useful feedback.
