Steps to reproduce: 1. turn on "typeset" 2. past this in a cell and execute it V = span([[1/2, 0, 0], [0, 1, 1]], QQ) W = span([[-1, 1, 0], [2/3, 1, 2]], QQ) V+W The question is, is it only limited to certain examples or a general regression?
