My remark about not hosting a FreeBSD virtual machine was inspired by Peter's remark that "Unfortunately, FreeBSD support in VirtualBox is still a work-in-progress and isn't production-ready." I don't know if that is really true though given that FreeBSD appears to be officially supported by VirtualBox, since it is one of the option when creating a new machine.
