Hi!
Here are three little algebra&categories patches on trac to review:
- #8576: Categories for QQ, CC, RR and friends
- #8562: Categories for IntegerMod rings
- #8579: Add the categories of magmas and additive magmas
They are good picks if you want to get into the category business.
The last one is very safe and does not require any specific
background. It just creates two new categories for magmas, moving in
some stuff from semigroups. The two first ones are a bit more
sensitive would be best reviewed by someone familiar with Sage's
fields (they fix various fields to make them actually use the category
code).
I am currently running the full tests, and post the results on trac soon.
