I'm working on trying to port Sage-4.4 to GCC-4.5.0. There are many issues on various OS's. * pynac (solved) -- http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8753 * libpng -- http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8767 * linbox -- http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8769 * gfan -- http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8770 I don't know how many other issues will come up. I've made all the above blockers for sage-4.4.1, since they are visible on skynet, and we *get* skynet in exchange for ensuring that Sage builds on skynet with the latest released GCC.
