Hi, I know I'm not the only one who is unhappy with the current approach of using D exclusively. I've stopped using Sage because of it. Much of what I do is centred around partial derivatives and I can't easily work with that form. Plus, it's a lot of work to rewrite all the output in a form I can use.
I seem to recall someone was working on a patch that allowed one to display (and presumably work with) partial derivatives in the traditional form. Does anybody know what happened to that?
