Hi Mike,

I'm looking at porting cephes-2.8.spkg to FreeBSD (which is also
missing some C99 maths functions) but it fails with:
...
gcc -o dccalc dccalc.o libmc.a stubs.o -lm
gcc -I. -g -O2 -Wall -c -o mtstf.o mtstf.c
gcc -o mtstf mtstf.o cmplxf.o clogf.o cgammaf.o stubs.o -lm
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `whitebxf.c', needed by `whitebxf.o'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/tank/obj/sage/sage-4.4.4/spkg/build/cephes-2.8/src/c9x-complex'

I've looked at patches/c9x-complex/makefile, through cephes-2.8.spkg and
the original http://www.moshier.net/cephes-math-28.tar.gz and am unable
to find either whitebxf.c or a tool that creates it. Could you please
advise how whitebxf.c and whitebx.c are created.

Also, could you please advise how you tested cephes on Cygwin.
