I was unable to build Sage 4.5.1 on my laptop using gcc-4.5.1 (instead of its standard gcc-4.3.2), cause Atlas did not compile, showing strange messages like (complete logs are at http://boxen.math.washington.edu/home/dima/tmp/gcc451logs/)
