I have now subscribed to IPython-dev. I will start a thread when things starts happening. I will start by updating sympy in sage to 0.7.1 as they have taken care of compatibility problems with IPython-0.11 already. It may be that other components of sage needs updating as well. A numpy upgrade is the most problematic item that I am aware of at the moment.
