this means that the installer carries even more (semi)system libraries
than Sage.
E.g. Sage relies on system's libc, but Mathematica cannot do this, as these
are not necessarily compatible on different Linuxces.
A way to counter huge download size would be to distribute just a small
installer which downloads the other binary files depending on which
system it is on.
