I figured out how to get ssl cents for one year from godaddy for $12.95, so that would be for a year. I can also get a cert for free through Univ of Washiington if I fill out enough forms... With salv.us, it will be 100% ssd (with a cert) from the start, using stunnel. > By the way, gmail is not the only OpenID authenticator (of course). You can use, for example, http://openid.anonymity.com/, to get a very quick account with no signup required (though security is proportionally lower---if anyone guesses your code, they can get into your account). Too bad facebook doesn't support openid; most students would probably have one of gmail or facebook accounts. > > (an aside...) As for exchanging public keys---I've wanted to try an idea that came from someone here, I think: having two students doing a message exchange by yelling out numbers from across the room, and have everyone else trying to decrypt the message that was sent. Real live chat works well for that :). > > Thanks, > > Jason > > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-devel" group. > To post to this group, send email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel?hl=en. > > > -- William Stein Professor of Mathematics University of Washington http://wstein.org -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-devel" group.
