Dear All,

There is a nice phd position available at the university of Eindhoven. It
is aimed at someone interested in computer algebra, so I thought there
might be people here who are interested in it. The position includes a
decent salary.

In this position you will among others:

-Assist staff in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses

-Depending on your background you will do research in one of the following
directions.

   • Gröbner basis in infinitely many variables;
   • tensors of bounded rank;
   • matroids and incidence geometries;
   • modular Lie algebras; and/or
   • realizations of polytopes in real spaces.

For more info see the application web page:

Thanks Maarten
